A photographic immersion into the liminal territory of the Borderland - a world between worlds, mystical and changeable, eerie with its vagueness, filled with Non-Movement. This is the space between the Here and the Beyond, and it does not mean the geographical location of countries, cultures, life spaces. The space where clear boundaries and solid frameworks of permanence inherent in settledness begin to blur. Getting into it, as if into nowhere, into a suspended state of infinity of oppressive uncertainty, in which you do not want to linger, so as not to get stuck.
The work was created in January 2022.
On February 24, 2022, due to the military aggression of Russia, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes, their native places in search of a safe place.
